The long neck of the speckled swan gourd curves elegantly downward and gracefully enlarges at the end resembling a swans head. The base or body of the Speckled Swan
Gourd averages 8" in diameter
with a flat bottom. Its beautiful green base is speckled with creamy markings. We hill our swan gourd seeds like we do pumpkins and cucumbers. Sow speckled swan gourd seeds 1 inch deep and keep moist until sprouts emerge. Hills have a tendency to dry up if they go un-watered for a length of time depending on temperatures, rain, wind etc. Like all cucurbits swan gourds do not like cold
nights at all. Make sure ground is fairly warm and ALL danger of frost has
