Mammoth Rock Red Cabbage
Beautiful purplish-red cabbage that keeps its color to the core. Tightly
packed heads average 8" across and weigh 6 to 8 lb. Excellent for cooking,
pickling or for fresh summer salad. This cabbage holds its high quality
during storage.
Best when started from transplants, Mammoth Rock Red Cabbage needs to be
started indoors, four to six weeks prior to your last expected frost date.
Two weeks before transplanting into the garden, the seedlings should be
hardened off to acclimate the tender plants to the conditions outdoors.
Transplant 2 weeks before the average last frost in spring. Plant your
transplants 18-24" apart in a row. Ready 98 days from transplant.
Packet contains ¼
teaspoon red cabbage seed. Approximately 260 seeds. |
