70 day parsley variety expresses nice vigor. Leaves are cut deep and
curled and somewhat resemble moss hence the name.
Adaptable to container, flower, herb and vegetable gardens.
Used as a garnish most often but also makes
a nice dried seasoning in soups, salads and other dishes. Very high in
vitamins A and C with a mild sweet flavor. Parsley becomes bitter once
plant goes into flower.
Also used to freshen breath, treat rheumatism, high blood pressure, and
digestive problems.
As with most herbs Parsley prefers a well drained fairly fertile soil.
Freeze seeds for 3 days or more then soak for 12 hours in room
temperature water before germination for best results.
Sow seeds 1/16" deep and keep moist until sprouts become established.
Thin to 6 inches.
