Little Finger Carrots are a very popular choice among small carrot
growers. Extremely tender and sweet little finger carrots are excellent for eating fresh, canned or
pickled.These little finger carrot
seeds are a 60 day variety and very early. Tops
are 8" to 10" with good attachment. Typical carrot shape, cylindrical
with blunt tips, 3" long and 1" wide. Does well in heavy soils.
Once soil reaches 60 degrees sow little
finger carrot seeds in a
row. When plants reach 3-4 inches tall thin to 2 inches apart. Keep rows
6 inches to 1 foot apart for best results. We plant carrots in double
rows 6 inches apart for ease of weeding.
This little finger carrot seed variety can be planted into summer.
