Early White Vienna Kohlrabi Seeds These mouthwatering kohlrabi seeds produce tender mild bulbs that are pale green to white inside and out. Sweet and crunchy, they’re good cooked or eaten raw. Sow kohlrabi seeds directly outdoors 4 - 5 weeks before last frost. Kohlrabi is a cool weather plant and will become woody if grown in the heat of summer. We plant our kohlrabi seeds in very early spring and again in late fall. Sow kohlrabi seeds ½“ deep and ¼“ apart. Germination takes 7 to 10 days. Keep the soil moderately moist during germination. Thin to 3-4 inches apart when plants are 2-3 inches tall. Harvest kohlrabi when bulbs are 2-3 inches in diameter. Maturity 60-65 days. Packet contains 1 teaspoon or approximately 500 Early White Vienna Kohlrabi seeds.
