The Michihli Chinese cabbage has a texture that is a mix between cabbage and lettuce. Chinese Cabbage also cooks wonderfully, keeping its form well and the taste is superb. Another great thing about the Chinese cabbage is that the leaves of Chinese Cabbage don't cause digestion problems like regular cabbage can. Chinese Cabbage is a cool weather plant and prefers rich moist well drained soil. Sow Chinese Cabbage Seed in spring as soon as the ground can be worked. Chinese Cabbage is also an excellent fall crop when started in July. For spring planting
start indoors 4-5 weeks before the last frost. Sowing Chinese Cabbage
seed directly in the garden may not allow enough time for the seedling
to grow before it becomes too warm in summer, remember Chinese cabbage
grows the best during cool weather. Sow Chinese Cabbage seedlings 10 -
