Alaska Sweet Pea is the earliest pea, maturing in only 55 days. Sweet and delicious, I like to pick a handful of these and eat them while I'm walking through my garden. Alaska pea seeds are easy and fun to grow.

Early Alaska Sweet Pea grows 24-28" tall and produces 2˝" long light green pods that contain 5-7 peas each. An excellent pea for canning, freezing, eating fresh or dried.

Plant Alaska pea seeds as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring. Early Alaska Sweet Peas love cool weather and frost doesn't bother them.

Sow Alaska pea seeds in rows 2" apart and 1" deep. Plant new rows every 10 days to extend season. Alaska pea seeds germination is 7-10 days. Thin to 4-6 " when Alaska pea seedlings are 2" tall.

Sow again in early August for a wonderful fall harvest.
