The Purple Coneflower is a breathtaking purple wildflower. Purple Coneflowers get about 3 feet tall and have very large purple daisy looking flowers with drooping petals.

Purple Coneflowers are easily established and will bring beauty to your yard year after year. Purple Coneflowers make a great background border, planted in rock gardens and along trails and roadsides.

Plant once soil is good and warm, about 70 degrees. Sow Purple Coneflower seeds about ⅛ inch deep. Germination takes 15 - 30 days. Thin 8 - 10" apart when seedlings are 3" tall.

Purple Coneflowers will get about 3 feet tall. Many new visitors may want to venture into your garden to check out these beautiful flowers, including hummingbirds.
