Hummingbirds just love Morning
Glories. Plant with Hollyhocks to get that "old fashioned" look.
Morning Glories originate from Mexico. Brought into the
US in the late 1800's, morning glories
soon became very popular, and still are.
Hummingbirds just love 'em. They give your garden that "antique" feel.
Blooms from mid summer through early fall.
Collect seeds when round husks turn brown.
Morning Glories will not tolerate any frost as a
seedling. So make sure all danger of frost is past before planting. Plant seeds in a sunny spot
2" apart and
1" deep. Keep the soil moderately moist during germination.
Germination takes
8-10 days. Thin to 4" apart when 2" tall. Sorry, cannot ship to AZ.
Caution: Harmful if eaten.
