Foxglove Seeds Digitalis purpurea
Foxglove is one of the loveliest
flowers with numerous tubular blooms grown on a tall spike. The colors
range from a deep purple to lilac with spots inside the throat. Foxglove
is a biennial, the leaves form the first year followed by the flower
spike blooming June - September the next year. Prefers partial sun to
full shade. Miscellaneous: Foxglove is a source of digitalis, prescribed by doctors to strengthen the heart and regulate its beat.
