Crackerjack Marigold

Crackerjack Marigold
seeds are among the
easiest annuals to grow. They bloom all summer long producing large 4”
carnation like flowers in shades of gold, yellow and orange. Crackerjack
Marigolds will
grow to a height of 3 feet tall.
Marigolds make a great
cut flower and add color to your flower arrangements. To eliminate the
strong marigold odor simply strip the foliage from the cut flowers.
Sow
Crackerjack Marigold seeds outdoors
after all danger of frost is past. Sprinkle seeds over soil and cover
lightly. Moisten the soil but do not over water and make soggy.
Germination takes 7-10 days. Thin to 8” when seedlings are 3” tall.
Marigold is also useful in nematode control,
you need to use the pruned foliage and add them to your soil.
