Bouquet Dill is a favorite for pickling cucumbers. Dill has a very fragrant aroma that reminds one of their grandfathers garden. Bouquet Dill has also been known to keep the hawk moth ("tomato worm moth") away, making it great to grow between tomato plants. We plant a clump about every 3 tomato plants down the row. If you have trouble with tomato worms you might want to give this a try. Herbs like well drained soil and not lots of water. Dill Seed is easy to grow though. Sow dill seed ¼ inch deep and keep moist until plants are at least 1 inch tall. Thin small clumps to 4 inches apart. Water 2 - 3 days after soil dries longer if not too hot. Packet
