Clasping Coneflower seeds grow flowers with black cone-shaped heads that are surrounded by bright yellow drooping petals. They are absolutely gorgeous when grown with purple coneflowers and very attractive to butterflies.

Clasping Coneflower seeds are extremely easy to grow, especially in dry hot areas. Clasping Coneflower prefers full sun and will grow in a variety of soil conditions. A very heavy re-seeder the grows 2 feet tall and blooms June through September. Wonderful for flower arrangements.

Sow Clasping Coneflower seeds outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Plant seeds ⅛" deep and 1" apart. Germination takes 7 to 30 days. Keep the soil moderately moist during germination. Thin to 4" apart when plants are 2" tall.
