It's hardiness and striking beauty no doubt played a major role in it's migration. Black Eyed Susan loves full sun and can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions. Black Eyed Susan is fairly drought tolerant and prolific making it seem more like a perennial where we live. Plant some Black
Eyed Susan seeds and in a few years you may have a field
painted with lovely yellow flowers. Black
