Getting the right
amount of flower seeds started is crucial so you should decide where
you are going to plant your flowers.
Drawing a flower
garden draft on paper is a good way to figure out how many flower
seeds you are going to need to start early. I always start a few
extra just to be on the safe side and give away the flower seedling
I cant use.
Soil
is extremely important when it comes to indoor seed starting because
seedlings are so tender. If you get them off to a good start using
the right soil you will have much healthier plants in the end.
We
recommend using a product called
Natural Beginnings Seed-Starting Mix
manufactured by Gardens Alive.
You will get a very high
germination ratio and your flower sprouts will be extremely healthy and
vigorous. Healthy flower seedlings will grow into stronger healthier
plants.
Natural Beginnings
is formulated to allow air to circulate while remaining
damp reducing the chance of root disease. This is a soil-less seed
starting medium that contains coir, worm castings and mealworm guano
as a natural organic nutrient source.
The coir provides more oxygen to the root zone which means healthier
plants that can take in nutrients more readily. This produces fast
growing healthy flower seedlings that are ready to be placed into your
garden sooner
